Shaking my head

Well yesterday was brutal nomatter what I did.  Between the fireplace going and getting gas for my truck here it was to flapping cold.  So as I sit here now and I am not so cold anymore here it is a nice thing totally at this time.  With some of the bigger logs and the pallet wood that we picked up I did try to keep the household warm and it did not work what so ever at all.  Now here with the weather being in how it all is and I am looking at a hard winter this go around I may as well use the fire place to help the gas bill out this year.  Of course the one neighbor tried to nail me again yesterday here and it did not even work to his advantage.  All I can do at this time is start laughing when the bills come in both places and I do not have the double care payment at all.  With that being said here I know that I am on track with alot of things for the place here while I have been doing the cheap side of things.  Things like using the fire place, keeping things off during the day, cooking on the cheap, and streaching things out on the back stock also.  There is just alot of things that I do for the household that some do not realize that I do at all.  Pluss all the reasons of why I am doing in what I have been doing here.  With the gals next door seeing in what I do for the most part here they have realized that I have a system and I will not brake it for anyone.  Also here I have also came to realize that at least I can get things done on the cheap and want to take it further than what I have been here.  There are some things that I still will not do at all and that is fine by my Husband at this time.  I do not see a reason for a bucket for things when somethings are cheaper here than what others figure that they are.  I guess this is why I shop over at places like the dollar stores for some things that are needed and can get the items cheaper than what I can make them and or wash them also.  With that part said here I would rather take the bag in the garbage can out once a day on that part of things.  Now here since I do have the back stock again and it is not as bad when my Sister in Law past, it will still work out for the better on my part.  Things are not heapping over at all is what I am trying to say like they were 7 years ago.  Since myself and my Husband can laugh about that part here and how long it took us to go thru all of it at the time it hurt when I had to start buying things again for the trailer.  So now here at least I can say that things will get done nomatter what goes on or down at the time.  As I sit here and think of alot of things that went on and how cheap that I have became on alot of things between the trailer and here for the house it has worked out.  Sometimes it does get hairy here and sometimes I do get down about things here and that is how it all goes.  At least things all work out in the long run.  This is why I shake my head at alot of things that I have seen here over the years.  Like when Sandra Lee starts with the low cost cooking with her shows alot of us have her beat to snot totally in what she does.  Since some of us pretty much know in what to do for cooking all 3 meals for a family and can get it down to about 10-20 dollars a day not including making something out of nothing in the pantry or freezers then you know in what is going on in the world.  It is about ready to get alot worse also here for that part of things once I think of that part of it all.  With alot of things here I will say that some things will never change on that part at all.  Also I am not one of the people who has the money to have stake every night of the week also here for the household at all.  The funny part of it is that I can make 2 meals today and still have plenty of leftovers here in the place in what I have made totally.  Ok Ok so I have the fixings for soup for the day here also along with other things here.  The head of cabbage is in the fridge and I have to use that up here also.  This is when I miss the cabbage fest totally and a good head of cabbage.  When my Grandmother pulled out the cabbage and made soup out of it last year I almost went bonkers.  But it worked.  Now I have made that at least 4 times here in the household and will make it again here shortly so I can freeze it back also.

Well today it looks like the Ajax will be coming out for the dish soap around here for some of the dishes here for the day.  It is nice to know that parts of the household here are getting cheaper than snot again here again.  At this point in time some people would not be happy with what is in the place at this time here as normal if they were here.  With some things it will never fail to amaze me in what some people will waste money on in their place.  Since I am not a big fan of getting the most costly things for the household here unless it is a major appliance here for the place.  Otherwise I scrimp and pay as little as I can for the place for alot of what comes in.  With that being said here it takes some time at first when you start looking for ways to cut the costs for the household.  It seemed like it took forever when I started alot of things here to get the costs down.  It was about the time that I started with the coupons also for the kitchen and other spots in the household.  Also here some folks thought that I would start cranking out really wierd meals also at the trailer.  That did not happen at all and I have kept it all normal for that part of things while we were at the trailer and the house here.  It is all in how you do things for meals and other places in the household.  With that being said here since I kept it all normal nomatter what happened, then it clicked totally to start cooking alot of things from scratch.  That is when the bug gets ya to try to match something cooking from scratch.  Alot of the times you can get close to something from a bag or box on things for meals and sometimes it comes out better than the bag or box.  I still keep some boxed things here for the household nomatter what for quick meals and that is a givin in any household.  There are many ways to get the costs down in the household nomatter what is going on in the world.  When alot of folks are dealing with a job loss totally now days nothing is right or wrong in how to cut back for where you are at.  I started alot of things since we went down to one income and the paycheck was not so good at all at the time.  It worked out with some help off of food stamps or as it is called now snap.  So yes I have learned totally here in what and how to do things off of that part.  It was a crash course in how to do things on a really tight budget.  Now at this point here I have been going to www.hillbillyhousewife.com for about almost 8 years now if not abit longer here for that part and wish I ran across Susanne before the time that I did.  So now here I still cook from scratch and on the cheap end here to this day.  It becomes a force of habbit after awhile since everyone needs to eat.  Also with the job losses all over you find out quickly that alot of things can be cut back even more.  Like turning off things totally and shoving the kids outside along with daytime T.V. is really not that good anyway after it all clicks.  I have said before it takes about 2 years for the power bill to come down totally and it takes work.  Please do not get me wrong on that part of things here.  I still work on the power bill to this day here and it has been 2 years later and that is how it goes when some people figure that it was ok to use the dryer on me period also.  So pull a family meeting totally and say hey this is the deal and there is nothing to worry about here unless the bills are just totally out there.  The children will learn nomatter what is going on.  Alot of the times you have to show the children this is what is coming in and this is what goes out around a place and let them watch you pay bills also so it clicks into their brains.  You do not have to show real pay stubs totally just the total of what is coming in then turn everything into a huge math problem that is how children learn in the house and ask in how they can help by keeping the bills low.  As a parent explain it to how they can handle things and ask in their opinion also in how they can help totally and the chidren will feel better about helping you as a parent out also.  It will be little things at first and you can add on to what they say also and have them try it out for the household.  The children will not feel as they are being deprived on squat after everythings said and done at all when they know that they have helped out their parents.  I was told NO alot growing up and so were other people out there and it did not kill us.  Go figure on that part of things here. 

Bad day all around

Well I had a bad day all the way around yesterday here and today is another day.  At this point in time I am getting screwed by the phone company again and I do not like it at all.  When the guy told me about 230 dollars a month for both cell phones here totally and it has not dropped at all below 300 dollars at this time here there is a problem totally.  It was not how I wanted to start with a bill and even my poor neighbor about had a stroke here when he seen the bill.  Since I do not mind someone opening my mail by mistake at all here I can only see his face on that one.  After getting prices here and 2 people in 2 different places here telling us turn this off and turn this off if ya do not want the roaming charges anymore.  The place that I am at now told us straight out to keep the things we turned off here on and things will be ok not telling us at 150 dollars worth of extra charges.  So now here since we got the run around here totally for the past 4 months here some people are looking better and better for the price.  In the area that I am in right now here there are times where I am going off of the Canadian towers totally.  It depends on where in the city that I am along with the weather conditions also for the day.  I do not mind the Rodgers cell phone company at all since they gave me some info also and even with both tax bases here that Canada has it is at least 200 dollars cheaper than what the bill is now.  Also the one company that I went to will take our old cell phones and give us credit for them totally.  That is the biggest thing along with about 100 dollars less that where I am at.  So now at this point in time here I can say that thank goodness I am thinking here totally on alot of things and I am figuring out the cheapest way to go at this time also while I am at it all.  One is the cell phones the other is going to be the cable company here for the next call also while I am at it all.  Another thing here is that since I am getting things done on the cheap end.  Since I am getting back into coupons here still and it is a slow process at this time it will work to help cut down on alot of the grocery and cleaning bills here for the household.  There is alot to be done here still for cutting down on things and cutting on the bills that it is not funny at all now.  With that being said this is why I told my Husband to start turning things off here and he finally got the point last night after the phone bill the poor man is getting it slowly in why I am doing alot of things they way I am doing all of them during the week here.  Also there are alot more ways that I will be getting cheaper here and thank goodness there is bleach in the household also at this time for some areas of the household.  So yes I am still working on alot of things here for my place and will get it all figured out.  Now to start thinking again here and to get some things done while I am at it all for the place. 

Wandering

Well yesterday was not to bad here at all.  Ok so the power bill came in and I about fell over once I got the dang thing open here.  Within a month it went down over 120 dollars totally.  So it must have worked in what I have been doing here for the place and myself hollering of course.  Knowing now that it does help to hang laundry along with just keeping things off here in the household it has gave me the hope for this year that I just might get the power bill down to about 35 dollars yet.  When I got told the other night here that I could not cut the budget at all and I started laughing the gal did not see the hummor that I did at all.  Once people realize that when I get told that I can't do something around the house or cut the budget even more than what I have already then I get it all done here.  Knowing what happened while some of us were in school and got told that we would never amount to nothing but a housewife here and that was it well I knew that I had to do something about that part of things.  It is just to bad that some did not realize in all the work that went into being a housewife at all.  Now at this point in time since I have been cutting and slashing on things here in the household at this time the gas bill is next around on the list to be cut down also.  The nice thing about all of this is that during the week it does not matter in what I do to cut things totally down for the household.  It makes it easier since I am alone here and my Husband pretty much now knows in what I have been doing for the household to get the bills down here without him.  Another thing that I have noticed out of the household also is that things are getting cheaper here without even thinking twice about it all.  So now at this point I will be working on at least 3 bills here for the coming months and see where I land up for all 3 to come down here for the place.

Well it is looking like I am not getting enough done here in the house at all at this point in time.  None the less I did get a truck full of wood so far for this winter here for nothing.  There are at least 3 more truck loads to bring back at this point in time also while I am at it all.  What it is at this time is that we have to unload and to get the holder up and going before we get any more here totally.  So inbetween time I did get a load of laundry folded along with a load outside and one in the washer again.  Ok so I have not been slacking to much here today since I packed the back end of the pick up full with the first load of fire wood here for the place.  That and I did get up to Walmart for the day also this morning here.  Now if I can keep on saving money like I have been at the 2 stores already I will be a happy camper for a good while here also.  At least I can laugh about what is going on here totally at this point in time here.  Between coupons and the nickles that I have took in I should be ok for a good bit here.  Pluss the free fire wood also and I can not forget about that part for the household while I am at it here, it is a good thing here totally in what is going on.  All I can say at this point in time is that some things are turning around for the place here now somewhat.  With the fire wood here at the house the gas bill will go down here this winter again and that is a good thing here on my part.  Maybe I will get lucky this year totally for the power bill and the gas bill and they will not be much I hope.  Now at this point in time I have not forgot in what I did do last winter at all here.  Now to match alot of it here and this some for this winter totally since some people will not be here at all having the door open all of the time and the lights will not be going also for hours at a time by the weekend here anymore.  That will be the nice thing for this winter compaired to last winter here.  Nor do I have to hear that someone is cold in the kitchen also here unlike last year here of course.  As I will say there are ways around everything here and I am still to this day figureing them out for the place here after almost 2 years here.  Not only that since I have found out about the dollar stores again here for some things for the household that is another way here of doing without going broke here totally for the winter months.  I guess this is why I shut the doors to the rooms that I do not use all of the time and still block off areas in the household.  May as well on that part also while I am at it all.  I am not saying to have the thermostate turned way up on anything or way to low to were everyone freezes in the household at all.  I try to keep a happy line here for the household totally on alot of things here without a total screaming match from the other or the kids at all.  Also it is good to have meatings with the family when you want to try something new around the household period.  I have found out the hard way about it with my place.  Pluss working as a team works better anyway for a household.

Well at least now here at this point in time I am wandering in what really is going on for the place and yes lastnight I got dropped to the curb again with a few things.  Since I have been trying to keep up with alot of what has been going on here it has not worked at all for the place.  After yesterday here I have been thinking about alot of things here in the household and what else that I can do for cutting the costs here for the place.  It will all come to me here without a problem at all within due time.  And yes I have self doubts all of the time here now after alot of what has went on in almost 2 years here in the house.  Maybe I have to put alot of it aside here and be done with it along with getting things done totally.  With that said here maybe I do have to get alot cheaper for the house and make my Husband watch in what I am trying to do here for the both of us.  Since I do try to set up a tight budget here for the place and some just love to trash that part of things on me here, this is where it makes me doubt myself totally.  So all I can do is try alot of things here yet again and go from there.  I guess this is why I started walking to alot of places again from the house here and when it is to far away then I drive.  This is what gets to some people that know me and some of the neighbors also here to where we are at.  Alot of times since I do not feel good I would rather not drive at all.  At least 3 people get this out of me here at this point in time also.  That is where I start saving on the gas for the truck that I drive here totally.  Pluss it also helps to have a push cart for when I do go out and shop close to home here.  With the winter coming up here in the area I do not mind walking to places at all if I get things that will go bad on a quick basis also.  So I will see where I land up for that part of things also for the place here.  Now there are several other things that have to be done and my mind set on it also here for the household.  Alot of the times I have noticed that some people tend to freak out on what I do here for the place when they find out that I am trying to be dirt cheap.  Also here it helps with the back stock with being dirt cheap for the household.  With alot of it I have got the place stocked up on everyday uses here and I paid a fraction of the cost for the things that are here.  When one person found out that I was switching things over last year right after my surgery she freaked out on me totally and started with the cut downs in what I was trying to do at the time.  Now since the person does not come over some things have been going smoother than what I figured it would since then.  With alot of it here I have figured out that the cheaper brands work just as well if not better for the household and what I am doing with it also.  I have also figured out that since I have been really cutting the costs between the trailer while we were there and here in the house also that alot of the times I am on track and other times I have to throw up my hands when someone trashes in what I do for either place. 

Well now I will rework the budget

Today I get to rework my budget for next year.  May as well do it this month instead of January.  All I can say is alot more coupons for this next year for the food and cleaning supplies.  And be as cheap as I can for the power bill.  Well with the Lot Rent going up again in April and God only knows in how high it will be after this.  Well I can say this becuase the owners of the park have still done squat around here and they have lost alot of renters also becuase of it.  There are people who needed to be evicted from the get go and the Management hasen't bothered niether on that of course.  All I told them was zap collars for the kids.  Now if it was my children doing this they would have tossed me and the kids out by now.  For the past almost 2 years I have been dealing with the children from across the street and thier father could care less and IF and When the Mother is there she can't controle the children niether.  So now I guess it is the pay the Rent and Shut the Hell up about the 2 children in everyones eyes.  Anyway I will be liveing very cheap/frugal this up coming year so I can get out of here.  That means more coupons and shopping even less for the can.  Pluss useing less power and gas on top of it all.  I have blocked up all the rooms that are not in use and that are drafty.  Pluss most of the windows also while I was at it all.  It has helped on the gas bill alot this year.  Under 100 dollars so far and the weather has helped also.  And there were 2 days that the furnace did not run last week.  Yes the big oven and the convection oven did also help on that.  It was over 80 here in the can.  So now to rework the budget and cut more out that I can really cut once again.  It will be nice to see the bills go down even more for the upcoming year of course.  I will be happy when the storage unit goes away totally.  So another yard sale is in order.  Another thing going on here in NY State is the wind power which most of us will not see a dime drop of the power bills once again.  Just like the Eastern Sea Board gets thier power from Canada's Power Vista.  Everytime they go down we all have a Black Out going for the most part.  I will say it again I live about 3 Miles from the NY State Power Vista and drive over it regularly when I am going to the one Hospital in Lewiston NY.  My rates are doubled becuase NY State wants it like that.  Pretty bad when my Mothers Power bill is cheaper than mine and she Lives in the state of Illinois.  And my poor mom has more running in her house than I do.  Alot of the times during the day almost everything is off totally from the power strips that I have here in the place.  Now I noticed when someone was Dog and Cat sitting in my place my bill went up 20 dollars that month while I was in and out of the place.  I asked if they had a party at my place.  They ran almost every light in the can without the party.  Just like they did over at thier place.  Then some wandered of why they had a 400 dollar power bill for the month every month.  Here I was not useing the dryer and hanging laundery out once it got nice enough outside and put the A/C on at 80 during the summer months.  When the sun was coming in one side of the windows I would block the windows on that side of the place.  It saved alot of money.  The highest bill I got was maybe 120 during the summer.  Ok folks have fun and play even harder.
