Shaking my head

Well for today it is another major cleaning day here for the household.  What can I say about it except it is in the middle of the week here and the trash will get out again.  Since last week was one of the odd ball weeks with alot of trash that went out this week I will take it easy on the guys totally.  So now here at least there will be less grumbling from the street.  With that being said here at least I know it is the normal trash going out to the curb this week for the most part.  Anyway today is another day to be cheap here with me being alone again.  It is not so bad once someone gets use to it all.  I guess this is why I am so repetitve here for the household.  Since I clean most of the time here during the day along with getting other things done for the week it has helped out after the last accident here totally here.  Knowing that it freaks out some people in what I do and say or people get totally mad at me for trying not to change hardly anything here for the household.  Except to get things switched over to the cheaper side here for the place once in for all again.  Even my Husband wandered why I had to write things down for either the trailer or the house here alot of the times and once he figured it out in what I was doing here he calmed down about that part of things totally.  Also my memory came back slowly here after 6 months after the surgery since the disks were not pressing against my spinal cord.  This is why I wrote alot of things down and got into a rutine here for the household.  So every little bit helped out here in what I did do for the place.  Now at this point in time for the place I am working on alot of things here to get alot of it done and go from there totally so I can get the place that much cheaper once again.  As I told the one guy where I paid my phone bill yesterday that I could not wait untill my power bill came back down to earth here he asked in how I did it all.  So I told him totally and also told him to take little chunks out to start with and give it a month to get use to the 5 things at first.  It all take some time to get use to things when you first start out.  Also since I am cutting down on things still to this day here for the place it helps out.  By using less of things it streaches things out along with money for the place. 

Shaking my head

Sometimes it makes me wander at this point in time when some people here in the area spend way to much money every where that they go.  Between just getting an item because it is there and they want it for their place and screw the needs of the household.  I know several people here in the area that get what they want when they want it and screw the bills, food, some cleaners, and gas to get back and fourth to work.  With that being said here in what they do get it the high priced things that does not work as well or do not think about in how much the item costs when they are out of the household at this time.  With some people that I know they have not paid bills and got some things cut off in their place also and wanted to come over here and watch T.V. totally and this is when the person told me oh I have to keep the house phone since nobody hardly knows my cell phone number.  The person got the package cut for the cable to their place back in May.  So by June the person wanted to come back to my place and the idea was shot down totally.  The person did not have a chanse to come back at all after what I found out anyway here.  This is why I say to start looking on where you can cut down in the place that you are at and think of ways that you can cut down without risking your health at all.  Between the coupons and the store cards you can do very well out in the stores at this time also.  Then with the power cut down on the computer time and T.V. times here also, and if you have kids in the house make them go outside to play.  All I can ask is what the heck do ya think that our grandparents and everyone before them do without the T.V. in the household.  They went outside to play instead of staying inside the households.  Also get drying racks for to dry laundry on for the household and the umbrella lines are about 40 dollars without the concreat also to sink them in.  I have noticed that without one person using the dryer all of the time here my bill has dropped by at least 75 dollars per month and without being on the computer and watching T.V. all day to go along with it.  I started that over at the trailer totally and still do not watch much T.V. during the day.  That is how I over compinsated since I kept that part off untill 8 pm Monday thru Thursdays around here and put the laundry up on the lines down stairs and on the drying racks also.  Even in the winter time I did that part of things here.  Some people like the person that was coming over did not get in what I was doing in the first place and figured oh well if they used the dryer constantly.  So now this is why I say think before you do in the household also here and now.  Also another thing is that if you have full loads of laundry get the full load done.  Just like with the dish washer do the full loads and pick a time at 8:05 pm or early in the morning to run that to save money.  There are many ways to save in the household without a problem here and everyone in the household has to be on the same page also when it comes down to it all. 

Finally

Well this morning I finally got onto my big system here to start printing out coupons here for next months shopping trip.  May as well clip my way into savings here besides the sales and cards for both kitchens to say the least.  Also here I know that I can use them at the one store and get them doubled and get extra points for the gas in the truck.  Since my Dear husband does not mind in that part of things niether for what I do to save money at all it is well worth the trouble to clip coupons for the household.  I have figured out that some folks do get mad when they see me with a fist full of coupons at the check out lanes still to this day and then are suprized in the amount that I pay after everything has went thru.  So now here at least I have came up with something else that I have not really been doing for the household as of late is to use coupons all of the time like I use to also.  So I will be getting the Sunday paper to get the extra coupons for the month here to help out in that part of the household also from now on.  I also have figured out in why some wanted to come walzing back into my life here while I was at it yesterday.  The gal figured that I would fall flat on my face without here witch did not happen at all.  In alot of ways I have got alot cheaper without the gal here and I am happy to see it was not me at all who was running up all of the bills totally here for the household at the time.  When the power bill came down right then and there for the household I knew what was up at the time here also along with the food bill going down.  Also I have caught wind that everything is going up 5%-25% here within 6 months and that was from other drivers.  Ignore in what the news tells ya totally at this point since I got my inside goody first hand around here also.  With it being so hot out and very little rain on top of it all prices go up weather we want them to or not for everything in the stores.  Now at this point at http://www.coupons.com/ , and http://www.smartsource.com/ is only part of the sites that I hit up to print out coupons here for the household.  Another way to get the printable coupons is to type in the search box is free prinable coupons also.  If you can get a sample with the coupon go for it also.  Alot of the times I will go to a web site and see if they either have a sample and or coupon for the item that I want for the household.  The trick to alot of the samples is use part of it for lets say the laundry then hang it up on a thin rail to use for another load also for the household unless you need a bit more for really grunged out laundry.  The companies will swear that a full packet is one load and I can squeeze out at least 3 loads of laundry or some sort of the nature here in my place.  Another thing that I do is write to the company to see if they can send me any coupons at the time.  The worst thing they can say is no.  There are ways to save money around the household also that some did not like me doing at all here.  Since there is only myself during the week here alot of the times I do not have every little thing going in my place at all.  Now here last summer one person swore up and down that she needed the dryer for her laundry and refused to hang out the laundry that she had.  Well 75-80 dollars extra on the power bill later with the window units going last summer I was hopping mad about that part of things.  And yes the power bill has came down that much since the gal is not here at all doing laundry and wanting every single light on here on the main floor.  My poor Husband flipped out when I pulled out an old bill from last year to show him in what was going on.  Since I have alot of things off totally here during the day for at least 5 days a week and I use the dryer for maybe 2 loads if that a month here I have came to the point of it is not me at all.  With that being said here it is hard to bring down the bills for the first year thru 2 years here when you get started.  I will admit to it totally here since it took that long at the trailer and for here in the house also.  Since the utillities love to read the meaters every other month, if at all during the winter also and I have hollered about that part many times and gave them a reading off the meater myself.  It helps out on the budget when you do that part of things. 

Running early

Well I am running early on the dinners for this weekend here as of last night.  Since my Husband came in and I cooked dinner here totally the kitchen is torn up yet again.  So with this morning here I get a ton of dishes to get done along with other things for the day.  With things getting cheaper for the house here by the day it seems like the weather will not let up for the power bill here at all.  Even though I can not complain about the 2 window units that will be going here for the household totally and the power bill that went on last year even with the dryer going.  This summer the dryer went out the window totally like it did at the trailer with the cool air going on here in the house.  What the one gal did not know was that I will always have a tight grip on what goes on with the things that suck on the power bill for the place.  Like the gal really cared in what I was trying to do anyway here since her power bill is about 200 dollars a month compaired to the about 50 dollars that mine is normally and alittle higher during the summer months.  Yes that is one of the things that I have noticed about the can and what others do in their place at this time.  With that being said here there are ways to get laundry dry without using the dryer at all for the place along with keeping cool in the household.  When I was using the window units last year I ended up closeing up the rooms that were not being used at all here and closed up the bathroom doors here in the household to make sure that none of the cool air was wasted and where the sun was beating into the house also.  This is what some did not get at all when it was 78 in the house here and went up to 85 with the bathroom door wide open with the sun going into the bathroom window at the time.  This year that will stop and I already put my foot down on that part of things for the place.  So now lets see what I can get into for the day and go from there.

Sitting here thinking

Well I am always thinking on my feet around here. Of how I can do things better or cheaper eather way. Well since yesterday I did hit the sales up at Kmart I saved over 25 dollars. That does not include what is on my card also for the place. Well I understand why the cashiers ask if I want to use what is on the card also. I told the gal I wanted to save it up becuase of I am always broke at points of the year. She diden't blame me after I told her also. Pluss I ended up with alot of the Green Works products to clean the can with. The product does not adjatate the birds what so ever when I use it. So I have stuck with it. In the long run it is cheaper to use the Green Works products anyway. When it takes me at least a month to go thru a bottle of dish deturgant that is 3 dollars normally unless I catch it on sale compaired to the runny brand that is not thick enough to even bother to foam up. Pluss with what I am useing now the dishes seem to come out cleaner than with the other stuff that I was useing. With children in and out of the can alot of cleaners will bother them. This way they can tell thier parents this is what so and so uses also and tell them how it works. I know one little on that was madder than a wet cat on a tin roof on Saturday. She missed the cookie bake off around here over the Easter weekend. I even had her Granddaddy laughing. Anyway I have been thinking and working on how to get my place cheaper anyway and it is an on going battle around here. I like it when it is quiet around here and there's no computer or T.V. going also. Once a person gets use to it it is not so bad. I get more work done around the can without them on. Pluss you get creative on how things are done and what you do without them going. Now around here in what I do is I wright down stuff to remind me of how I did things thru the day. It makes life easier on me. And of course there is no right or wrong way of doing things anyway. Everyone has thier own of doing housework and that is how life is. I learned over 33 years ago it takes all kinds of folks to make the world go around and everyone is differant. Just like there is no right or wrong way of being cheap/frugal also. Everyones needs are differant anyway and some of us do things in what is better for that sittuation. Like with me I hit the sales stock up and use coupons, turn off things while I am home, and make phone calls to get better deals for the utilities. There are lots of ways to go frugal and cheap and sometimes they both go hand in hand. My Hubby always teases me about makeing the dollars scream more than a dozen times before I let it go. I have had others tell me I squeek when I walk also. I laugh about it and say it took me almost 20 years to get like this. I also did all of it slowly also. With some things I ask myself ok do I really need something and is there a way that I can save up for it in the long run. Also another thing that I have is I do not go shopping for items that I do not need also. Outfits are so over rated anyway. I live in sweats most of the time along with T-shirts. Yes I do have about 3 pairs of jeans that I can go out on occations where I want to get kind of dressy. I have been known to show up to the stores in fuzzy slippers and rollars in my hair also. I have nobody to impress and if folks do not like it they do not have to look at me niether. I have been like this since I was in grade school. As I have got older I have also realized that I will cook over going out to dine someplace. It is cheaper to stay home and cook also in my book. Pluss when some folks come over they realize that yes I do cook the scratch meals for the household. And some are like can I try that out and have the recipie after they try it. With me I have a ton of recipies in the household and add things to it and try to spice it up. I also have to leave some things out of course. Oh well lets see what kind of damage I can do to the place today. Have fun and play hard.

Lots of laughs last night

Well as I sit here and think of what went on last night I have to still laugh at some of it all. Some things can not be explained to your HMO at all. Now that today has begun it is Monday and I need to get my list up and going so I can somewhat plot out the day of course. I will be eating leftovers from last night for the week. To some folks in what I am about to do is just wrong to them. Like I care at this point in time. The folks who hollar about most of the stuff does not live here at my place. Anyway I just checked out my balance on my card for Kmart and I am impressed on it at this point. I am well on my way to some stuff to get for the can or the house eather way I look at it. I will start shopping more over at Kmart here and they take coupons also on alot of things there. The trick is to get things on sale and with a coupon to save more at expensive stores. I have cards for many stores around here. If you can let the points or money build up and you can get money off of something in the long run. Like the one grocery store if you get 100 dollars in groceries you get 10 cents off of gas when you fill up your vehicals. Well you get the point on that. I have known some to get dang near free gas also from the perk. Just like with Kmart the money builds up on the card and then you can do some major damage in the store on alot of stuff. I was not going to waste the 15 cents that was on my one card to get it took off my bill. I will let it build up for awhile. Pluss I can do some major damage once a month anyway once a month shopping. It never hurts to save when you can. My Husband and I were laughing over the weekend about going shopping also. Some figure that all I do around here is sit on my toush when I don't at all. Things have to be done around here and I do most of the work anyway while I have the place to myself. That is why most of the things get turned off so I can work in the place and save money while I am at it all. Also the Hubby was saying that at least he will not starve in the truck nor in the kitchen around our place at all. I have been known to knock off between 5-100 dollars off the bills by useing the coupons and other things to get groceries also. Once you get use to doing something it is not hard to keep the habbit of doing to save the money at all. Just like when I started cutting back on the laudery items it was hard at first. I noticed a huge differance in how the items came out and much cleaner also by cutting things in half and useing an eighth of the laundery deturgant of what the bottle calls for. Some things need to washed twice with the dirt and the grime. When the water is just down right nasty you almost have to wash the load of laundery again. Ok folks have fun and play hard.

Another 2 weeks

I have about another 2 weeks before some family will be up. So I will be hitting the grocery store somewhat here next weekend. Well yesterday was a mess when I took my Husband out to do shopping for the truck. I did manage to get my 20% coupon I hope for the one store. Pluss I was over at Kmart yesterday also. I will be watching thier sales fairly well from now on pluss a few other things. Now normally I would have took the 15 cents off the bill and got to thinking of that one. Save up as much as I can on the card and have a big shopping trip for what I need from there and a few extras when I get enough money on the card. Tag the card up with the coupons also I will end up rakeing over Kmart. My card is good all over the place also. What gets to me about the stores around here is that one store has the Green Works laundery deturgant pluss bathroom cleaner, another store has the rest of the Green Works products. Not that I mind shopping around at all. I can say that once I do try out the Green Works deturgent I will let all folks know about it. Pluss I will be for the most part on the same page for the Product line in the place if I like it. Well in my place there are several folks that come over that have medical issues and it seems that the Green Works products do not bother them as bad as the others out in the stores. I sprayed one of the cleaners infront of a friend and it diden't bother his lungs at all. It is abit more money for the products I will admit to it. Also alittle goes along way so it is well worth the extra money for the products. As I sit here and think of all the things that I have done to save money and what I diden't get to yesterday also. And also knowing as of Thursday the windows will be open and I will be cleaning the carpets around here. Pluss hanging out the laundery while I am at it all. Most of the house work will be done this week I have the feeling. Ok folks have fun and play hard.

Well found out a bit more

Well I thought that the past 2 weeks were brutal. Well it got worse and Thank God that some folks came home off of the working trip got home this past week. Now I really refuse to go to Mt. St. Mary's for anything. I know there are ways to keep someone in the hospital and some have thier ways of doing it also. I know a couple of ways and I will not say in how at this point becuase the one was in the right to keep someone in just in case. Well the person that was at the garbage pit hospital, got relesed and went home when she needed to be still in with the few things that were going on still. Anyway one of my kids are feeling like I am also you do right and be honest about things and we get tourched. Well I should have listened to the poor girl in the first place and I shoved the feeling down like I normally do. Something was said and I told her no go do what you had planed for get your mind off of what's going on at this point. So I missed a Funeral once again. Since I do not get the paper at all and do not always look at the Obituaries on line while I am at it all. It would have helped if someone called that I thought was a friend. Just becuase the guys wife and I are not talking doesen't mean that I am not talking to him also after all that has happend and said after January. Last straw was pulled put it that way. Anyway at this point today is going to busy to say the least and I am not going anywhere and I don't care for who it is and what is going on. I am takeing a me week per say. Just to make sure I am ok around here and to still play catch up to what I ignored during the past weeks around here. I just do not like being on the go that much at all. At this point I have a bit of laundery left and that will get done today and alot of other things around here also. Now that I have the time to do alot more around here it will get done. Well with like lets say the laundery here my Husband doesen't mind me getting that done once a week at all. Then this way I have enough for at least 4 full sized loads. That is how I operate for the most part becuase, I am still use to the old washer also. Now with the auto fill I do not have to worry about it that much now. It is a nice feature on the washer along with the H.E. I use less water anyway. Also I do not have the 90 dollar water bills at all between the washer and a few other tricks that I pull. The old washer would flood out the bathroom floor all the time one of the sencors was bad for the rince cycle so I had to keep an eye and an ear out for it. Also I do not flush the commode all of the time while I am at it all. Since there is only me here for 5 to 6 days a week sometimes more and less depending on the runs of the truck, I can go 3-4 times without flushing. Pluss to top it off I run 2 sinks of hot water one with dish deturgant the other just plain out water and when I am suddzing up in the shower I turn off the water untill I am done with that also. There are ways to save money all the way around here. Some of the things that I do may not work for everyone that is out there also. There is no right or wrong way of doing things at all. Just like I call the companies sometimes to see if I can get a better deal on thier service if not oh well if so cool beans for me. It seemed like every 3 to 6 months I was calling the regular phone company to see what they could offer me at a better price. Untill the one repair guy told me it was in my head and to stop the madness. Well the company got thrown out of my place and I worked off my cell phone. I had been useing the cell phone anyway for 7 months by then anyway becuase I could depend on the clarity and maybe a lost call once a month. Ok folks have fun and play hard.

On the run again today

I will be on the run later on today. The poor van will be so sick of me by Thursday it will hurt. Now I hope it will be good driveing tonight eather way. By tomarrow it will be back to the grind of things once again. To go see a friend at the worst Hospital in the area, I am not impressed but at least I stuck up for the patients as best as I could. I am still trying to get things done around here in my place pluss to take care of my crew. I coulden't wake up my friend since she was resting peacefully for a change. There is a couple of things she always liked for one I am very blunt, the second is that I am so light footed walking in I diden't wake her untill I sat down in a noise maker chair. Well at least I was and still am there eather way for some folks. Been there for others also and got smacked down and ignored while I was at it all. Well I figure if you are not gonna make it to someplace let me know by a phone call. The person missed a good time 3 weeks ago still has kept me giggleing over somethings that happened. Then I get a call lastnight asking if I wanted to go to Bingo. Needless to say I diden't here my phone becuase I had droped by to see if a friend was doing ok and put my cell phone on vibrate so I wouldent bother anyone on the floor of the hospital then went to Walmart and totally forgot about the phone untill my Saddle Bag started vibrateing. I diden't call the person back at all. I figure 2 can play that game altogeather. It has came down to that. So here I sit I diden't go back out and diden't want to with the wind going like it was. With me I had so much to plot out for this week that my mind has been raceing altogeather in how to get everything done again. Also I kind of got hollard at lastnight for not cleaning as well as I should have. I try to keep things picked up without a problem around here anyway and last week was just one of them weeks that the can diden't get done altogeather. Now I can say that I am hopeing for this week it will be abit easier to deal with since I do not have to drive for 2hrs right off the bat for Monday. Alot of things will be done by tonight. To start out the week. That is what alot of folks do not see out of me around here. I do so much behind closed doors that they all think that I have a wand that I wave over everything to get stuff done. Once the cans are picked up and the dishes are done then it is pretty much smooth sailing around here untill Friday early morning. With me being the only one here for 5 days a week I can let the dishes go for 3 or more days around here. Since in the past week I really haven't ate much it means less dishes that I had to do. I know I lost about 10lbs by running all over also. That leads back to what my Dear Sister told me I need to take time out for me and screw the world around me. I kind of have took time out for me while I was standing at the washer thinking I'm the nutsy one out of the bunch. Pluss not only that I was thinking of how to cut more out of the bills around here also. Lastnight was a great start and so was last Monday. Now to keep up with alot more around here and this week I can hang out the comfators out on the lines outside. It is better than 2 hrs in the dryer and still not have them dry in the middle. Alot of the times I try to put the bigger blankets in the dryer for about 10 min to defur them from the dog and cat after they have been on the line. Ok folks have fun and play hard.

Nice thing about

One nice thing of getting up early is that I get more done around here during the day. And after yesterday I am still shakeing my head in disscussed over it all. No more are staying at my place at all. As a couple of good friends told me if and when you are staying someplace look around and see what needs to be done don't wait to be asked to do. Well around here most of the people that come over know I do streach out everything that I can. I refuse to go broke for anyone that has been to my place at all. Pluss there are some that come over and we start talking on how to save money in our way of doing things. It does help when we all get to laughing about what we have done and tried. Some were amazed when I turned off most of the lights except for 2 of them and thier power bill droped 50 dollars just within a couple of hours of the lights being off. And the dog that they had at the time diden't mind it so much at all. It was enough so she could see what was going on at the door. At the time also I diden't have the bird also so I would always sit in the dark and have a candle going to see. Now this morning when my Hippy leaves I will shut off everything and get 2 candles going in the kitchen and that is all I need to go with. Most of what I am doing today will be on the run anyway. The dishes can wait untill tomarrow if I do not get to them today. Along with a few other things here in the can. Since I have about 5 days here alone I do what I can during the day and go from there. I will admit in a way I am spoiled kind of in that since that I do what I can on cleaning while the Hippy is gone. Ok folks have fun and play hard.

Another wait time

Well I shoulden't complain on waiting at all. It gives me some more time to plan out dinners for the weekend at least. I am watching the food network also while I am at it all. I have everyone praticly beat up with cooking on a budget in my place. Well it is eather the food network or another one of The Housewives of Orange County. Most of the gals on there are fake anyway except the one who left and the one that is really broke and still makeing it with her boyfriend. Well between everything I really don't spend around here at all. I use coupons and get the sales. The bargin rack is my bestfriend half the time when I can get something for 90% off even. I never have known what it is to have money that I can go out and just say if I loose 200 dollars then that's fine. I have had to watch every nickle and dime that is coming in and out of the place around here. Some folks do not understand when they keep the fantom power going in my place it could cost me at least a 200 dollar power bill by the end of the month also instead of 80 dollars. So yes I am gonna unplug everything that I can in the can to save on that bill. For the gas bill that is a differant story around here. It will be 150 a month untill the summer hits then it goes down to about 20 dollars a month. It doesen't matter what I do during the day or night both bills will be up or a huge vet bill for the bird, cat, and dog. I do not run space heaters at all unless the furnace goes out all togeather or we haven't started the furnace for the year yet. Then I will be sleeping on the couch when the furnace goes out for that long also. This is why I have alot of the rooms blocked up. It goes with the territory let me tell you. Now I am just happy that I hid most of the batteries in the place also while I was at it. The bump in the can would not throw out the old used up batteries at all. I found out this when I went to use my cd player and a camera. Well since I do not run the T.V. nor the computer during the day I use batteries for a radio or cd's. All the Double A's were shot that were out of my desk. Except the ones that I hid in my desk when I cleaned out the old desk. Well that is why I say no more people are gonna stay with me. When I can say that I can cook from scratch and really get the food budget down to about 7 dollars a day for 3 people in the household and when the 3rd person turns up thier nose for good cooking on the cheap and would rather have the deep frier going then it is time for the person to eather start helping or theres the door one. And I politely tossed the person out. And the person is still lucky I diden't shoot first then tell him to get out once I think about it all. Oh well have fun and play harder.

Just don't wanna

Well I get to run out to Collins again today. I just dont like it when they do maitanince on the tractor in the middle of winter at all. After Friday slideing up and down the hill just stinks in my book. Well if the Hippy slid on friday and he has a load in the bucket I am still wandering how I got up the hill myself here. About the only thing that kept me laughing was the shop cat. She kept running up and down the hill to see what was going on while the one machanic salted the hill down. Then the cat would mow at me like they are trying. Some cats make the best watch dogs anyway in my book. And in my household the dog and cat tag team on everyone. So anyway I was watching a commercial for Oprah and I don't feel sorry for the family that gets the computer and a few other things taken away. Yes it is hard at first to not be on the computer all day unless it is work related and the T.V. is mainly off in my household along with the main computer anyway. It was hard at first untill I got use to haveing silents in the can. Then I noticed that I started to get more done here in the can. Yes I know it does sound strange. Pluss when I got the power bill after the 2nd month of doing this my bill had droped by 40 dollars by turning stuff off also. Then after that I had an idea to get 2 more power strips for the 2 T.V.'s in the place and started turning off the power strips after that. I have also noticed that if the Hippy isen't home during the week the power bill goes down to about 80 dollars a month or less. I don't watch much T.V. and I will be the first to admit to it for my place. Now I have to keep the DVR on tonight so a movie will record. Tomarrow it will be off for most of the day along with other things of course. And I have got to the point where I even unplug the coffee pot during the day even. Some folks may laugh in what I do. It works for me to cut down the power bill. If I had enough room here I would be hanging the laundery also during the winter time also. My neighbors have asked me in how I have done it all and kept the budget. I told them I unplug everything during the day for the most part and do alot of laundery on the Off Peak hours. Yes I end up staying up late or getting up very early to get the laundery done. I was laughing yesterday becuase yesterday was an off peek day. And now I get to do more during the week this week for the one room that needs to get done. Tomarrow will be anothe busy day for me anyway. As Mondays are around here. Went shopping anyway

I'm not complaning at all.  I saved about 100 dollars today at 3 differant stores today.  And picked up a few things along the way for next year.  All the dishes finally got done around here for now.  Untill I start makeing dinner once again out of the leftovers.  I am hopeing for a one pot meal tonight.  Dinner on the cheap is pick 2 leftovers for tonight marry them togeather then I have the roll out cressant rolls to throw on top.  Now I have been cutting back as much as possible for this month of course.  Next month is going to be a shock to everyone that comes over here.  I will get most of the stuff cut out once again.  Aldi will keep me shopping for the groceries and a few other things.  Right along with a few other places also.  It has seemed like the prices are starting to go up around here once again at the stores.  So I will start hot and heavy with the coupons also for the new year at other stores that take them.  And I usually shop with coupons anyway around here and I have been somewhat slacking thou.  Ok folks have fun and play hard.

Today is worse than yesterday

Well I looked around this morning and seen the damage that I have to clean up once again.  I don't know how it has been done in the kitchen once again.  Pluss with the dumster diveing yesterday just made more dishes for me to wash of course.  Some how some way I will get thru it all today.  What is nice is I can do alot of it on the cheap and without lights going.  I will get the power bill down once again for the place.  Pluss with useing less dish soap it helps out on streaching that out around here.  The first time I used the Green Works products I had so many suds that it hurt.  I haven't tried the laundery deturgant yet.  It doesen't mean that I do not have a bottle of it.  That is the nice thing of being stocked up and useing less of everything.  Becuase when weather hits or you can't afford to go out and get something it is already there in the place.  Alot of times before I go out for a major shopping trip to the grocery stores I will throw open everything and make a list from there of what is needed.  Or as I run out of something I will write it down in what is needed.  It keeps the cost down of that bill.  Now for some of it when it is on sale and you can afford it go for it so down the road when it is not on sale then you already have the item.  Also it helps to have a deep freezer for when turkeys or whole chickens are at below 80 cents a pound.  In my place I have to watch in what I cook of course.  When the Hippy is here I have to cut out all fish and no peppers also.  The peppers I can't have at all.  What gets to me still is that some just don't care in  how they shop at all.  It's full price for them at all times nomatter in how broke they are.  So I have cut and slashed the bills down to where some folks don't come over anymore also.  Becuase I won't just get up and jump on what they want me to do around here.  I looked at one person along with another friend and asked now how am I suppose to pay the bills and get what you want me to get for my place to make you happy.  This is why some folks get thier utilities shut off at all times of the year.  There are some bills that I have to pay on time becuase if I don't gee being evicted and the car woulden't be legal here in NY State to drive.  Yes I do have a cell phone.  It has saved me more times than not around here when the power goes out.  With the cable phone when the power goes then the house phone goes also.  I have noticed over the years around here I have always had heat and the power turned on also.  I know a couple of people that have had thier gas just totally shut off even in the winter time.  I just shook my head on it all.  And the person that has done this time and time again can't say that he doesen't make good money and that he can pay his bills.  I guess that the toys that he buys are more important than the bills to be paied.  Ok folks have fun and play even harder. 

A nice Sunday

Well at least it will be a good sunday today.  Now to go get money out of the bank so the Hippy can run the tolls and get other food on the road.  I will be sending munchies with him also this week.  Now since I am running 2 kitchens again and have got use to it just totally forgot about the Dollar Tree for the munchie food.  So here I will go back to the Dollar Tree for alot more now.  When you try to streach out the dollar there are always ways to do so.  Also with me sometimes I just need a bit of something before the big shopping trips it seems like.  Now the Dollar stores will help out alot more from now on.  You would be suprized in how many name brands are at the Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and Family Dollar.  I will tell you the stock changes alot.  And you can always find something that you like in the 3 places.  The fun is seeing in what is in the Dollar stores.  Between all the dollar stores out there I shop all of them for the most part.  Now with 2 of them depending on what you need for the household I can hit the both up and be good for laundery needs and other things.  I have had cashiers ask why I hardly get the swifters/knock off brands any more.  Well I use a towel for the swifter here at my place.  I learned to be cheap in the hotels while I was working at them while laid off at another company before they closed the doors.  So yes for one that unenploys people then you find other means to bring in income to the household.  Or you start looking at your own budget and the best places to shop at again.  Now I always shopped at the dollar stores for work anyway.  And alot I have cut back on also in what I get.  Ok folks have fun and play even harder.

Getting way to much done

I did get way to much done yesterday.  I diden't get to the deep cleaning part of the can yesterday but, i got most of the kitchen cleaned and picked up.  Now to just do more here in the place today after I pay another bill.  Funny in how the first 10 days of the month you are scrambbling to pay all the bills and you can sit back for the rest of the month almost except the few stray bills.  Anyway at least there are dollar stores out there to help out on keeping most of the costs down on food and other products also.  Pluss it got me out for a bit longer from the can.  Now with the Dollar Tree they are a great place to go.  You can order a case of something and have it shipped to the store pay and see you at the next go around.  There is an up side to everything.  Ok so alot of it is a smaller size.  At the end of the month it is a good thing becuase maybe you needed a bit of something to take you into the beginning of the month.  Some dollar stores have the bigger sizes also it depends on where you go.  Pluss if you hit the dollar stores you never know what they might have at anygiven time.  Things you woulden't expect to be there is there.  Like coffee pots.  I will admit they do not have a timer nor a clock on them at all.  In my place we are so hard on coffee pots that for 5 to 10 dollars for about a year it is well worth it.  The impoertant thing is to look around and keep a note on what costs what and where.  Sometimes Walmart has the better deal sometimes the dollar stores have the better deal.  It just depends on where you are at and how much time you have also.  Ok folks have fun and play even harder.

Have to admit

I have to admit I do read other blogs and have for some time now.  One of the ones that I read the poor Woman went thru what I have with power outages and phone troubles like i have and did.  Now as some know I am saveing up for a wood burning Kitchen stove.  It may be a nickle at a time but well worth it untill I get out of where I am at now.  I will say it is well worth the wait and the one blog that I read all of the time proves my point of the power going out all of the time.  You never know when the power is gonna be on or just plain out.  And since we are expecting a very hard winter this year I am happy that I did go with a gas range this time.  A match and you have at least burners to cook on.  Pluss some heat for the place.  I remember growing up for a time out in Collinsville the place that I was at on the line between there and Maryville the power would go out and almost everyone had a fire place in the house.  Or i would get sent down/up the street to my cousins place for heat and to sleep at if more than 24 hrs of a power outage.  The good old days of family takeing care of family.  It still brings a smile to my face of being with loved ones and sleeping on the floor for heat and food.  So now I feel the same for several childeren in the park eather way.  I will protect them eather way becuase they are good kids.  As I told some one today advice is free as long as you get at least 4 opinions and mush them all togeather and you have your answer.  It is so true now.  I still turn to the elders for advice and run with it.  And alot have told me save girl save.  And it doesent matter in how you do it as long as you try.  If you save 3 dollars or even a penny it is something.  And 3 dollars is a meal for at least 2 if not more in todays world.  If you really wanna go ultra cheap.  I have done it and still do.  Ok folks have fun and play even harder.

The saveings never stop around here

I went to the Reservation yesterday.  Got the new card over at Somkin Joes and saved 3 dollars.  One of the bad habbits that I have left is smoking.  And I need to quit that part of the nasty thing that I picked up from when I was 16.  Well the Hippy was funny in line becuase I like the cheaper Cigaettes anyway.  On a rare blue moon I will pick up a couple of packs of the name brand.  Pluss it gets me out of the house to go shopping sometimes becuase there is only the fed. tax and no bottle deposit if you shop at thier grocery store.  Like anywhere you have to watch the prices of course.  I remember when thier bread was 50 cents a loaf till the government jacked the prices along with oil companies on the gas.  This is why I started walking again to the stores.  Alot of the older folks love to see someone young with a wheely bag.  It's the bags with the wheels under it and not the wire ones niether.  I can fit so much into one bag that I like them.  They can range from a dollar to 10 dollars depending on how big or fancy you want the bag and where you go to also.  I got one at the Super Flea up here in NY state for 1dollar.  The Super Flea is also a famers market.  There are some of us that kinda hang out togeather that never realized that the other pinched pennies like we all do.  Well between all of us pinching as hard as we can we laugh at eachother becuase we traid in how we all do things.  There are some things I just will not do to be cheap/frugal.  I refuse to have a bucket near the cammode for that time of the month with homemade things.  Something just doesen't seem right about that at all to me.  Maybe becuase of what I have been told from Doctors about that.  And it is easier to grab the gargage can out of the bathroom and go from there almost everyday.  Depending on how many people are liveing there in your place.  Sometimes I do remember the take along bags sometimes I don't.  So I get the bags for like the cat litter and the small garbage cans around the can here.  So it works out eather way.  Now since the holidays are coming up here I will be walking alot more to the stores even though it will be colder than snot out.  It takes less time for me to walk to the stores than it takes me to get out of the front drive way of the park here.  Mall is one way and several stores also around.  Pluss I already have the Turkey for the hollidays anyway.  It is mainly the light stuff that I need to get at the stores now.  After Black Friday gets here I will be leaveing here at about 8 am to go out to the further places to get stuff done.  And forget the weekends there after becuase the mall is packed and to much traffic.  The "Locals" know about the entrance at 3rd Ave.  Which is the main road to get out of here.  Little tricks of the traid from being here almost 15 years.  Ok folks have fun and play even harder today.  I have house work to do.

Still trying to be cheap here

I have on ecomplaint about rich people and maybe NY State has it right.  Tax the millionairs around here in this state.  For the most part I have kept my mouth shut on where I worked at and why I was on and off public assistance for awhile.  At one time when I was young I had 3 children who were not mine and working 3 jobs to support all of us pluss going to school.  Once I got older and was working 60+ hours a week and still diden't have enough money for food yes I turned to food stamps once again.  Now some of the rich folk never lived the hand to mouth that some of us have once they became the millionares that they have or the billionairs also.  OR some have had been in the upper middle class for as long as they have and never gave a thought about us working broke people who live a hand to mouth exestance in life at all.  Now I have really realized in why I started my blog in the first place in life.  Takeing what I have learned and saying that you are not alone in this task at all.  I have hit rock bottom in my life and then some.  I know what worked for me and my household or can and tried to pass it all along.  I will say if Docsaplaya is in a chat room now don't even bother with it at all.  Most of the people in there are rats and "Doc" Buddy Howarad will cut you down on what you think and believe in.  I learned that the hard way after a true friend had said something to me in passing.  That is why I have a new found place in life of saying this is what worked for me going after page after page of frugal liveing.  Now when I say cheap don't totally deny your self of anything just cut the fat that you know is there little by little and DO NOT let anyone degrade you on this of what you are trying to do.  If it will help you and your family out go for it.  As I say anything is worth a shot for a couple of months if not longer.  I know with me and myself it took 3 years to straightin out the power bill here in the can.  This is normal and keep after the utility companies on to get out and read the meaters.  I called once a mounth and hollared and threw a fit untill they all came out.  And after 6 months of the headache they came out and for the rest of the year I diden't owe them a dime.  Now that the gal and the guy are divorced (caught on the down stroke with his wife).  Ok so I can depend on taxes going up along with the rent and power bill here in Niagara county also.  Even though I own my can.  All I am saying do not keep up with the Rich part of town nor your neighbores on everything.  Hve fun and play even harder.

Turning a new page in life

I have turned a new page in my life around here.  I will be going ultra cheap from now on here just to really t'ee off the family on my dad's side of the family.  I know that my one cousin is over a hundred grand in debt at this point in time.  I am just hopeing she looses the house that she is in at this point by non payment and taxes also.  So now I will be getting more free stuff in the mail and will look for more free stuff to be sent to me and all the pets in the can.  I will tell you the free stuff has helped in the mail being by myself for 5 days a week around here.  I will get the power bill down to practiclly nothing even if it really hurts in the long run now along with a few other things here in the household.  I will say in the past 14 years I haven't asked for no money at all only emotional support from the one side of the family and not my Father's side at all.  My Father's side with his parents was a house of just plain out crap becuase I wasen't blonde at all.  and I dident get pregnant while I was in high school also.  I learned my lesson from my nefew when I was 15 years old.  That babies were no dolls at all they are hard work between the pukeing and the smelly dipars.  SO A BIG THANK'S TO MY SISTER ON THAT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am very sure that the both of us can laugh about it now almost 22 years later.  My nefew was my liveing baby doll and still LOVE him dearly to this day.  So a BIG thank you to one of my older sisters in my life.  All my Mother could do was laugh at the both of us after my Homer was born.  Also no matter what the boy can still call me and say hey can you help me auntie.  Even though I coulden't give him money I do have 2 shoulders to lean on and I do understand what the child is going thru eather way.  So I will be going way cheap becuase of most of my family and seeing what they have done now.  Going into debt when they all diden't have to.  And why I have kept a power bill out there not paid also.  Oh trust me my cousin has tried to get the power/gas bill in my name for years now( in the state of Illinois).  I want to pay the bill off but more than likely wont untill my Father's one sister grows up along with 2 of her children.  And most of us have dissowned My Aunt and 2 OF HER CHILDREN now after all these years.  Darla you are safe with me also kiddo.
